Your first visit

Nothing is done to your teeth until you have heard the options and the costs and said yes. Here is what usually happens.

What happens, step by step

  1. We say hello and listen

We ask what brought you in, about your health and any medicines, and anything that worries you about the dentist. If you are in pain, we begin there.

  2. We examine your mouth

We look at your teeth, gums and bite, and check the soft tissues of your mouth. It is gentle, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

  3. X-rays or a scan, if needed

If we need to see more, for example for an implant, we take X-rays or a 3D scan. We only do this when it will help us advise you.

  4. We explain your options and costs

We tell you what we found, in plain words, and what you could do, including waiting. You get the cost of each option before anything starts.

  5. You decide

You can book treatment, take the plan home to think about it, or ask for a second opinion. There is no pressure.

The practical details

How long it takes
Usually around 30 to 60 minutes. A longer consultation, for example for implants or a smile plan, may take more.
What to bring
  • Your Emirates ID or passport
  • A list of the medicines you take, and any health conditions or allergies
  • Any recent dental X-rays or reports, and a treatment plan from another dentist if you have one
  • Your dental insurance card, if you have one
  • Any questions you have. Writing them down helps.

If you are nervous

Many people feel that way, and it is fine to say so. Tell us when you book. You can ask us to stop at any time, and we will explain each step before we do it.

How to book

Call us or send a WhatsApp message and tell us what you need and which days suit you. We will find you a time. If you are nervous, tell us when you book and we will plan for that.
